Product Description

A pulley is a small wheel with grooves around its periphery that can rotate around an axis. A simple machine that can rotate around a central axis is called a pulley, which consists of a grooved disc that can rotate around a central axis and a flexible cable (rope, tape, steel cable, chain, etc.) that crosses the disc.
Manufacturing process of forged and welded pulley:
Pre-welding surface pretreatment: remove impurities within 25mm of the surface to be welded and both sides thereof, including oil, scale and rust. Assembly before welding: connect the hub, spokes and rim from the inside out in sequence, so that the centers of the components coincide in the horizontal and vertical directions. Installing tooling: install "L"-shaped tooling at the connection between the spoke and the hub and the connection between the spoke and the rim, ensuring that the position of the tooling is symmetrical about the center of the hub, and fits with the spoke, hub and rim and spot welds firmly. Preheating before welding: put the assembled components into the heating furnace, keep them warm at 200 to 350°C for 2 to 3 hours, and then take them out. Welding operation: weld under the condition that the wind speed does not exceed 2m/s, use flux-cored wire gas shielded welding, and the welding groove is a single-sided V-shaped groove. Rough machining: Rough machining of the outer circle and inner hole, leaving appropriate margin. Shot blasting: Shot blasting of the outer surface of the pulley,
removing the oxide layer generated during hot rolling in the rope groove for subsequent quenching. High-frequency quenching: High-frequency quenching of the rope groove of the pulley to make the surface hardness of the rope groove meet the technical requirements (HB280-HB320). Finishing: After quenching, the pulley is finished to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish. Quality inspection: The forged and welded pulley is inspected for size, hardness, appearance and non-destructive testing to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Finished product identification: Mark the necessary information on the pulley that has passed the inspection, such as product number, manufacturing date, material and load capacity. Packaging and warehousing: The qualified pulleys are properly packaged to prevent damage during transportation and storage, and then put into storage for shipment.
