Forged rolled rings on one of our radial ring rollers is an King Steel specialty. The process for ring forging for the seamless rolled forged ring involves cutting a hole out of a forging material, such as aluminum or stainless steel, and rolling it into a thin ring. The rolled forged rings offer improved concentrically and smooth surfaces as compared to plate burn-outs, or butt welded rings.
